Starting and running a startup is a lonely journey, and BFC is your ticket to a community that supports, encourages and helps you at every turn.

The BFC Story

Exchange Hugs, Not Handshakes

A year ago, six founders sat together in a small room, unaware that an ordinary conversation would turn into something extraordinary.

What began as a casual gathering quickly became a space founders didn’t even realize they needed—a space where challenges could be spoken about openly, where success wasn’t just celebrated but understood, and where the weight of building something from scratch felt just a little lighter in the right company.

That conversation became the foundation of BFC.

Twelve months later, that idea has grown into a thriving collective of over 200 founders. Not just a network, but a circle of builders who know that real relationships outlast business cards and that the best advice comes from those who have walked the same road.

In over 50 meetups, countless off-the-record discussions, and late-night debates, BFC has become a place where founders don’t just connect—they find each other. Where deals are made, not because of pitches, but because of trust. Built for founders, by founders.

Now, we look ahead. BFC isn’t just growing; it’s taking root in new places. With our Pune chapter thriving and Delhi on the horizon, our vision is expanding—bringing the same depth, camaraderie, and founder-first ethos to new cities, new conversations, and new circles of builders. As we grow, so does our community.

More maverick founders are joining in, more friendships are forming, and more ideas are finding the right people to bring them to life. And this is just the beginning. With new initiatives in the works—some that haven’t been seen before—we’re building toward something even greater.

Because at its core, BFC has never been about scale for the sake of scale. It’s about making sure that wherever a founder is, they have a place to turn to. A place that feels like home.

Devarsh Saraf is the founder of Bombay Founders’ Club. A fast-growing circle of 200+ startup founders who meet, build, and grow together. He’s a lawyer turned entrepreneur who studied at NALSAR and Columbia Law, but left the corporate path to build things that actually matter. From launching a legal-tech startup to now running one of Mumbai’s most trusted founder communities, Devarsh blends structure with startup chaos like it’s second nature. He believes real founder magic happens off the record, not on stage, and more than traction, trust is what keeps this crazy journey worth it.
